Where to begin....

Ok...so I've thought about doing this for some time now...and haven't really known where to begin. So...here I sit...11:49 on a Thursday night...should be going to bed..but I've decided to give this a shot... I've been doing a lot of soul searching lately...and find myself at a great place in my life right now.. It all began (well it began long before where I'm about to start...but I'll cut to the chase)...this past September when a long term relationship (nearly 4 years) I was in ended. It was over long before it ended... Funny how comfort keeps a person around...without love..without romance...without much of anything more than friendship.. Anyway...I finally moved out in September...we remain friends (of course..cause that's all we were for the last 5 months of our relationship)... I left behind two dogs and a cat .. I miss them..but they're better off with him.....come to find out...animals can't live off pure love n' attention...they need to be fed and walked and all that jazz...lol... Ok...so back to the soul searching...so I leave this guy..who I had a crush on in grade 8 and finally hooked up with 12 years later...and find myself living with my younger university student brother...in a new city... My brother and I have got along great for ever...and living with him is no different... We're very similar though and therefore..the place is not always pristine (far from it)..and we don't eat normal meals at normal meal times....but I'm lovin' every minute of it nonetheless. So I read 'The Secret'.....what an inspiring book...Law of Attraction is very thought provoking...and that's where the soul searching began... But what I've found really helpful...oddly enough...is online dating!.. I joined basically as soon as I moved here....and it has been personally enriching.. I've learned so much about myself from it.. Starting with writing the 'About Me' part...describing yourself can be quite difficult...but why?..cause you don't really know yourself... And then there's the various people that you meet...and converse with.. They ask you questions and make you think about yourself..and your interests..things you take for granted... I've met some really great people...some weird people....and some amazing people.. But the person I'm most grateful to have met is myself... I'm writing this blog to keep track of and share my adventures...be they out with friends...at work...on dates...or chillin' with my family..
